Over the course of two months, students will be guided to re-examine visual perception from multiple dimensions, moving from theory to practice, and ultimately reflecting this knowledge in their artwork and daily lives. The core of the course is to help students reconstruct their understanding of vision and perception, with drawing serving as a tool and a milestone. The focus will not be on teaching technical skills such as "how to make things look good," but rather on guiding students to think critically. This process of thinking is the true goal of the drawing training.
This course is suitable for beginners, hobbyists, and those applying to undergraduate art programs.
Course Content
(Intro to Color)
Over the course of two months, students will transition from passively imitating nature to actively creating color. The class covers all techniques and knowledge in painting, with selective instruction based on students' needs. This course can be seen as an open-ended life drawing class with no specific focus or limitations, placing greater emphasis on the final artwork compared to the beginner class.
This course is suitable for undergraduate painting students, graduate applicants in painting, and graduates of the 4C color fundamentals beginner class.

Registration & Fees
We offer small-group, in-person classes with a maximum of 4 students per class to ensure personalized guidance and interaction. The course content is rooted in contemporary art education principles and provides highly professional drawing training, rather than a one-time experience.
Our course is not traditional repetitive drawing exercises, but rather starts from concepts, using drawing as a tool to understand and test those ideas. The goal is not drawing itself, but visual research, which is the core of our curriculum.
In this part of the course, you will explore the magic of color, learning color theory and applying it in practice. This foundational training will heighten your sensitivity to color, opening a new window for observing the world.
