This photography course introduces students to camera fundamentals, including manual shooting and techniques, through technical theory and hands-on demonstrations. Participants will also learn post-processing skills in Lightroom and Photoshop, focusing on photo enhancement and editing workflows.
In a practical workshop, students will set up scenes and lighting based on their interests, each having approximately two hours of shooting time. The course concludes with a critique session covering output techniques, paper selection, and French-style hand-framing, followed by a final sharing and Q&A.
Target Audience: social media creators, e-commerce photographers, photography enthusiasts, and artists.

Based on the students' interests and needs, we will focus on setting up scenes and lighting (indoor), with each student having about 2 hours of shooting time.

About the Lecturer
Zengyi Zhao holds a Bachelor’s degree in Photography from the California College of the Arts and a Master’s degree in Art from the Art Center College of Design. He has worked at the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre in Beijing and Photography China Studio. His works have been exhibited in galleries such as Three Shadows, Hauser & Wirth, and LA Artcore. The exhibition locations include the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and South Korea. His professional background encompasses both fine art and commercial photography. In the realm of fine art, Zengyi's work explores concepts such as time, authenticity, and consumerism, presenting a space that lies between existence and photographic illusion through image composition and manipulation. Through years of work experience and artistic practice, his commercial photography has expanded to include product photography, studio photography, and advanced image editing.
