Project Overview

The 4C Shared Art Studio is located in an open-plan creative space of approximately 520 square feet (about 48 square meters). It is a non-profit initiative dedicated to providing young artists with greater access to working space and reducing the costs of creation, thereby supporting them in sustaining their artistic practice after graduation.

We recognize that many young artists face significant challenges in securing creative space once they leave school: private studio rental often proves prohibitively expensive, while working from home is frequently constrained by space, environment, and atmosphere, making it difficult to maintain professional practice. As a result, many art enthusiasts are forced to interrupt their work and may gradually distance themselves from creative pursuits.

The 4C Shared Art Studio was established in direct response to this reality. It aims to provide Mandarin-speaking artists under the age of 40, as well as aspiring art practitioners, with an affordable and supportive environment in which to create. Here, artists may freely pursue their practice while also engaging with peers, exchanging resources, and continuing their creative journeys together.

To safeguard the rights and safety of all members, this Membership Agreement has been established to regulate the use of the shared studio.
